I got a D in Calc will CSULB rescind my acceptance from this?

They have every right to rescind you’re admission for a D. Of course they may not do so -each violation of the admission conditions is examined on a case by case basis- but most schools consider a D or lower to be grounds for rescindation. Call the admissions office on Monday.

The semester is not over right? Wait until AFTER your finals before calling the school. Maybe your grade will go up and you don’t have to tell on yourself. At my daughter’s school, quarter grades don’t appear on her transcript, only mid year and year end grades.

You have nothing to lose if you calll them and discuss your situation. If you don’t get a D then the discussion didn’t hurt. You need to find out what they are likely to do, as well as what might happen at other schools that have offered you admission. And find out if there are any options such as summer school to make up the grade in case the D matters. Then you can make an informed choice about whether CSULB is the best choice for you (unless its your only option).

For CSULB, getting a D DOES NOT MATTER. No matter what people say! People have gotten in with Ds and Cs. As long as your GPA is above a 2.0 you should be fine.

^ Perhaps you should do some research @ledkatarina.
