Getting a D in one class but doing great in the other 4.

I am taking 5 courses again this year, and I am doing pretty bad in French 2, around D to C- minus range. I guess I never took the class seriously and thought it would easy, well I was wrong. I am getting atleast B+ to As in my other classes. My total GPA is a 3.12 and I am worried that this French class will screw me over should I just drop it? Or is that only a good idea for when you are failing a class? It would be my first withdrawal. I spoke to my French professor and from what I understand a D is passing(I didn't know that), meaning I can move on from the course but I can still retake it if I wanted to get a better grade.

What path do you think I should do? I should also add that I am getting financial aid for this course as well.

Just finish out the class and take the D or C and then maybe take it again, if you don’t want to deal with French again then just do good in all your other classes.

I guess you’re right. I hate French so I’ll just take the 4 credits regardless of the D or C then.

…Are you seriously having a conversation with yourself?

^I know. This thread just me lmao.
