Getting a letter of rec as a freshman.

Hey,

I'm a freshman, looking to be a sophomore transfer to a different school.

It seems the largest problem I'm facing is finding a recommend-er! I'm a first year student, all of my classes are most aptly described as "cattle calls". They're enormous. I do my best to stand out in the crowd but the professors honestly don't even care what your name is and couldn't remember it if they did. Some schools even want two recommend-ers!

Any advice?

I’m actually in the same pickle as you except I’m a distance learner…I haven’t even started college yet (Spring 2015!) and I’m already looking to transfer.

Though I did read that TA’s can write rec’s or co-write the rec with the professor. Apparently as long as you’re a good student and show up to class they could write you a rec…
Knowing you personally isn’t too big of a deal.

Or so said that article I read!
Good luck☺
