Getting a TV for my dorm

I'm thinking of buying a TV for my dorm, I'm not too sure what to look for these days. I'm not too inclined on buying one of the old clunky box TVs, so I'm looking at the LCDs, but they all seem to have similar features. I'm looking for 20'' and lower, since anything bigger will make my room look small.

Anyways, any suggestions would be great as to best place to buy, best brands, is HDTV compatible necessary?, etc.

Thanks!

Check Walmart. I know most people don't like shopping there because well it's WalMart, but they've got some pretty nice stuff there now. I've got a 19" Polaroid HDTV that doubles as a computer monitor. I think I paid about $280 for it last year. My dad recently bought a 32" Sharp out there too that we like a lot.

check out the vizio brand... although not a sony or toshiba, they really get the job done and the prices are reasonable. only walmart/samsclub sells them

I have the same TV as hops and it works great. I got it for more, but I bought it almost two years ago. Circuit City has the best deals, IMO.

If you guys have a Bransdmart USA where you live, that's the place to get record deals.

I got a good deal on an Insignia LCD/DVD combo at Best Buy. ($300) It works great so far when I tested it out. Televisions that have DVD built in are great for dorms.
