<p>Hello, i applied to Hofstra in October 2012 for early action 2, i got my answer in late december and learned that my application was differed to the regular decision pool because my SAT scores and GPA fell right under the required score. I asked the admission counselor who is reviewing my application and she told me the pool is smaller in the early decision so the pool has a higher standard, however in the regular decision my chances increase a lot because the pool will be bigger and the level won't be as high. i got a 1600 on my SAT and have a GPA at about 3.1. i am applying as an international student coming from the french system. i was wondering if i should worry and not hope for the best or will i get in. thanks for your help and opinion.</p>
