Getting accepted into Ole Miss.

I'm currently a Jr, in High School and wanting to get into Ole Miss really badly and I was wanting to know my odds.
I have a 3.1 cummulative GPA so far and I recieved a 19 on my ACT and im getting ready to take it again, and I've been studying a little this time. haven't taken any AP classes but I have taken adv. history and kept an A in there the whole year. Im terrible at math and will most likely graduate with only 3 years of credible math, but that is my only downfall in any of my core classes. I've taken my SAT as well and recieved somewhere around 1330.

Please get back to me and help me figure out my chances of getting accepted.

wow really. no one has any advice for me at all

wow really. no one has any advice for me at all

It depends. Like always. College board claims that 78% of applicants are admitted. If I were you, I would get that ACT to a 21 or above, preferable a 24 or above, and I’d say you’re probably good.

I’m thinking I will go to Ball State and complete my 4th year of credible math and complete my freshman year there. Then I want to transfer to Ole Miss to finish out my college career

you’ll get into Ole Miss…who doesn’t?

so now I’m thinking about the Univeersity of Kansas. What are my chances of getting in there

What state do live in? Keep in mind that if you go out of state, then the cost goes up a lot. Will your parents pay the OOS costs?

You really need to get some practice books for the SAT and ACT and use them.

i live out of state but my parents said they are willing to pay. i take my act again in about a month and i have been study about twice a week for about two months

ole miss is required by law to accept ms residents with the minimum ACT or SAT and minimum GPA. Getting into the Barksdale Honor college is a whole different matter. a minimum 28 ACT required plus a minimum GPA (not sure what, maybe 3.5)

If you took 4 years of English, 3 years of math, science, and social studies, and at least two advanced electives, you can get the standard admission with your stats.
