Getting accepted to NYU Poly from Iran

Hi,
I’ve heard a lot that getting accepted to an american school with financial aid from Iran for an undergraduate program is impossible. I wanted to see if that’s true.
I am a 9th grade SAMPAD student ([National</a> Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](<a href=“http://■■■■■■■/sampadwiki]National”>http://■■■■■■■/sampadwiki)) and it’s kinda my dream to go to a university in America. Colleges and universities in US are pretty expensive and we can’t even afford paying $2000 per year because of the inflation, so I’ll need a lot of financial aid.
I’m going to apply to UWC next year, but I know it’s pretty hard to get in there. If I can’t get accepted there, is there any chance that I can get admitted to a college in the US, preferably NYU Poly?
Note: my average grade is about 18 out of 20 and getting TOEFL is not much of a problem for me.

no answer?

Hi, Non-traditional student is a term for older students who either never went to college or are returning.

You should post in the College Admissions or College Search and selection which are the main forums here for high school students. It is not impossible but sounds nearly impossible for you. Only a few schools will give full aid to international students and those are extremely difficult to get into. You will still have to pay airfare and some misc expenses. NYU Poly will not give you full aid or anywhere near enough for you to attend. I don’t know what UWC is.
