Getting Accepted to One of the Six Colleges at UCSD

<p>I was wondering what criteria UCSD utilizes to decide who gets into their #1 choice and who does not. Is it a randomized process or do they take stats into account to make their decisions? I really would like to get into my #1 (Muir).</p>

<p>Priority is given to those whose third letter of their last name is a vowel followed by ethnic backgrounds.</p>
