I want to go to UF so bad and I am going crazy thinking about finding out on Friday. I am new to this site but I was wondering if there is anyone who can calm me down haha. I have heard so many people say that they want people with really high tests scores/GPAs but last year a girl at my school involved in 3 sports, held positions in clubs, had 3 family members who went there and had a 5.9 GPA and a 29 on her ACT, didn't get in, however a boy in my class last year got accepted with a 23 ACT and a 4.6 GPA. I am so confused and I was wondering does this happen to many people or was he just a rare case or what? I guess I am just venting lol. I'm about to pull all of my hair out over here.

Admissions here is holistic.
