Getting accepted with a 3.0?

I'm a high school junior and I went to visit this school and just fell in love. Some of my friends were telling me it's harder to get into the Twin Cities campus. I want to get into the Carlson School of Business.

I know I have a 3.0, but I'm taking three AP's this year, took one last year(got a 4 on the test), and plan on taking four next year.
My high school career has been spent at an international private school.
I'm president of a community service club and have been a member since I was a freshman. I've played varsity sports my whole high school career, and I am varsity captain in volleyball and basketball.
I've also been on student council and plan on running again next year.

Do you think this would be enough to get into this school? More importantly what more could I do to help me improve my chances?

Have you taken the ACT/SAT yet? What is your class rank?

Things to do:
*Take a hard, but manageable schedule for the rest of high school
*Do well on standardized tests
*Try having an upward trend in grades

The Twins Cities campus in general is a hard school to get into, but Carlson is very competitive. The average ACT of this years freshman class was a 29.2 and over 63% were in the top 10% of your class. Until you take the ACT/SAT (and hopefully do well), Carlson is more than likely out of reach. However, you could apply to one of the easier admitting colleges such as CEHD and hope to pull at least a 3.8 and transfer into CSOM after your freshman year.

I’m taking my SAT’s this month and ACT’s soon too. Also can I apply to Carlson my sophomore or junior year?

Like I stated above you can apply as a new freshman for CEHD (better chance of getting in) and then attempt to transfer into CSOM your sophomore/junior years.
