im going to MOORPARK COllege and im trying to transfer to UCSD,,,,MY GPA's not that bad (3.4)...the only thing that i dont have on my application is extracurriculars....what r my chances of getting accepted? can anyone help me....?

Extracurriculars really aren't that important for California community college transfers. What matters is your GPA and your coursework at the community college. Make sure you finish 60 units at Moorpark so you can be considered as an upper-division transfer.

Community college transfers get top priority for UC transfer spots - UCSD accepted 67 percent of the CCC transfer students who applied last year, so you've got a great shot.

Call UCSD's transfer admissions people and ask what they consider.

As always, make sure you have a couple backup schools - overall, UCs have an 85 percent acceptance rate for CC transfer students, so at least one of them is likely to accept you.
