I know a student who wishes to apply to more colleges than the allowed 4 application fee waivers and the high school is sticking strictly to that number (don't know if they can do otherwise). The student has a list of 6-7.

Is there a way to get additional ones? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Bumping in hope that someone can help with this. I understand that these vouchers are to help students get into college but limiting them to 4 when others apply to many more does not maximize their chances, so if there is any way to do this, I want to know!
Thanks

This is interesting! Thank you. Some colleges the student is interested in are not on the list. Does anyone else have advice/info for asking a college for a fee waiver? Would this hurt the applicant’s chances? Thanks.

I realize this is a radical idea, but if the student wants to apply to additional schools, perhaps s/he can consider paying for the applications out of pocket.

There is likely a good reason that the limit is four. I assume it is because other students have abused this freebie in the past.
