Getting admitted without stellar stats.

<p>My GPA is nothing special and my SATs are good (2100) but not off the charts. I know my chances at Berkeley are slim anyway, but unlike most of the other UCs they will really look at the essay and your personal qualities and not just stats, right?</p>

<p>So someone with less than 4.0 might still have a chance?</p>

<p>Yes. got in with like a 3.6 unweighted 3.96 UC gpa. 2040, 800,740, sat and satII’s. some ec’s.</p>

<p>That’s good to know. My GPA is even lower though, like 3.7UC. But I did take hard classes so maybe. I’m not getting my hopes up.</p>
