Getting Ahead in Math

I am currently in Algebra II as a freshman. This means that...

9th grade: Algebra II
10th grade: Precalculus + Trig
11th grade: AP calc BC
12th grad: Multivariable Calculus

Is there any way that I can get farther in mathematics before I graduate?

Take one of the classes over the summer and then you could add in Linear Algebra as well.

but there is no point because colleges do not take any math credit after calc ab

Unless you can take pre-cal/trig over the summer or multivariable calculus during the summer, no.

If I’m not mistaken all of the ivies offer more credit for BC than AB. Many non-ivies allow transfer credit (I think even MIT does) and many ivies and non-ivies allow placement/challenge exams (some times for credit) to allow you to place higher. In any case, you’ll be better prepared so it will be worth it.

I’ll take one of the following post-BC tracks:

(Magnet)

Graph Theory, Combinatorics and Game Theory, Vector Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear algebra, Number Theory

or (Early Graduation at current school)

Calculus III, Differential Equations, Discrete Math (Calculus II pre-requisite)
