im studying AP psychology and AP human geography.but i heard that to get AP's that you self study on your transcript, your parents have to do some audit thing?

is there any other way that you can get it on your transcript?

can my school do somethign to put it on my transcript if i get the credit?

how will colleges know that i self studied it and got the credit if it doesnt say it on ym transcript?

You normally will not get self-studied APs on your transcript. Instead, you have to send an AP score report to the colleges you'll be applying to via the College Board. Even for APs for which you took the class, the scores will not normally appear of your transcript.

that sucks. will colleges know that i self studied a certain AP?

and will self-studying give me an advantage?

Whether colleges know depends on when you send them your score report, but it probably won't give you much of an advantage anyway, unless, say, you plan on majoring in chemistry and you self-study AP Chemistry.

It really depends on your school and their policies. Ask them about it.
