Getting an internship with a 2.57 gpa?

Hi, I am a senior from a not well known state University majoring Computer Science. I will be done this spring. I am trying to get a internship over the summer as a way to get into the company that offers the internship. But most website I looked at said that I must have at least a 3.0 gpa which I don't have, even the employers have called me and asked how my gpa is. I am wondering how could I get a internship or a job without real working experience in the industry? Plus, I don't know any people that works for any companies. Any suggestion is helpful. Thanks
