Getting B in an Honors Class

I really want to go to Princeton. But I am worried about one of my grade. As of right now, I have straight A’s in all my classes except Honors Pre-Calculus (equivalent to AP because my school does not offer AP courses anymore). I will either finish with a B or B-. I struggled this year because I was in regular math last year and moved up and my Algebra II teacher was awful. Also, I am currently a 10th grader so I am taking 11th grade math as a sophomore. Will that show up on my transcript? Right now, it is the only honors course I’m taking this year. But I’m taking 3 next year in the social sciences (American History and Gov) and biology. Will this B affect my chances of getting in?

It is also important to note that I plan on getting recruited to play a varsity sport at Princeton.

As far as I can tell, it will show on your transcript, however a single B on your transcript is certainly not going to prevent admission. For athletic recruiting, are you familiar with the academic index?

In another thread, you mention the type of HS you attend. The counselor staff there will be able to provide much better info than here. Good luck.
