So last semester I returned to college after having been on academic withdrawal. I turned in all of the necessary paperwork and registered for classes and the only thing financial aid said I had to do was take out an emergency loan with the school until My financial aid came in and paid for everything. I verified with them several times that my financial aid was approved and then I took the loan out. This happened in January and I did not find out until April that I would not be receiving financial aid because of my academic withdrawal before. I had tried to set something up with the business office to pay this off and still go to classes but they wanted it in full in order to be able to register for the new semester and I could not make that and as a result it went to collections. I am just wondering if there is anyone I can speak to about this? What are the chances I can get back into classes while paying this debt off?
