I know technically you're not supposed to be able to transfer credit for courses taken in high school for college credit... but has anyone been able to do this? Any feedback would be great.

The guidelines are pretty clear.

It's all on the website.
In CAS, in many (but not all) cases, you can only get actual college credit for an AP score IF you're majoring in the area of that AP test. For example, you can only get credit for a 5 on AP US History if you're majoring in history; you can only get credit for a 5 in AP Biology if you're majoring in Biology. It's unfortunate. Again, though, this is only in CAS.

I feel that CAS has the most stringent requirements for AP credit. For example, you can't place out of both writing seminars if you have 5's on both English AP tests. I ended up not getting credit for the 5 I got on the English Language test.

Lianri's right about the History AP test at least. I just looked on my transcript and sure enough no credit for the 5 I got on US History. Bastards.
