I plan to take a macroeconomics class next year at my local university because my school only offers AP Micro. I've read on here that most universities will not accept transfer credits if the credits went towards my high school graduation requirements. The thing is that I may just graduate next year in junior year and I won't need this college course to meet my graduation requirements. Would this credit transfer to another school with the policy of not taking dual enrollment credits if they went towards high school graduation?

In all likelihood I would have to ask my counsellor to make this college course count towards my diploma if I wanted it to. Otherwise, it wouldn't show. But even if it does show up on my transcript, can I still transfer this credit?
