Hello!
I’m in my last semester in CC and hoping to transfer to UCLA this fall. I moved to LA last summer from Washington and left my job at a company that I might have been able to get experience from. It was nearly impossible to get a job, but I need to work full-time in order to go to school (which has also been full-time). Now, I’ve learned to balance full-time work and school, but I’m not sure how I can add anything else to the equation right now. My hours at work are all over the place.
Overall, I’m 27 and I want to start getting some experience in the field I hope to move into, which is Human Resources. Most people in HR seem to work Monday through Friday 9-5 and, with school, that’s something I cannot do. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you get experience in? I don’t want to leave school at 30 without a day of experience!
