I understand it is difficult to get accomodations for the ACT...easier for the SAT. Once it has been denied...does anyone have any suggestions for getting a positive result...especially if accomodations were already granted for the SAT? Has anyone had their request granted and could give some helpful information as to what they submitted?

why do you need them? forgive me for asking, but your post makes it sound like you're more trying to gain an unfair advantage than compensate for a disability. i don't mean to be a jerk, but that's just the way it came off to me.

I have a son who has learning disabilities and he has always had services at school...resource room...and extra time accomodation among others. He began recieving services since preschool....speech issues etc. His needs were recognized by SAT but not by ACT. I am concerned that we did not properly submit the correct info. We are not trying to gain an unfair advantage...simply trying to obtain what he is entitled to. This is my second child...I've already been through the college process once...but the other child did not have any issues.
