Getting Full Ride or Full Tuiton

So one question I have always had was how do you actually find full ride scholarships? I mean I see people getting these full ride scholarships to the UC schools, ivy leagues, and other prestigious schools, but when I look at the university’s website they don’t have those full ride scholarships listed so I don’t know what the requirements are for those scholarships. So how are we supposed to figure out what we need to do to get full rides? Thanks for any responses

The Ivies do not have full rides that are merit based. They only offer need based aid. Similarly, many top school offer merit/institutional grant which lower the costs down from full price.

Some schools have a handful of full-ride offers. Others have a few more. (GT, for example, offers 50 presidential awards which are full rides.) NCSU has the Park Scholarship. Those type of scholarships are highly competitive and are low in number.

Several schools offer full rides to NMS.

Several schools offer full tuition based on test scores and GPA.

Some schools allow the stacking of scholarship $$. This means that admission scholarships (like full-tuition described above) are allowed to be combined with dept scholarships and other special scholarship awards.

How do you know what they are? Researching schools one by one. There is a link at the top of one of the forums with a list several scholarship links.
