Getting help with criminal charges

Hi I was wondering is there any way to get finacial aid with a criminal charge.
I have a felony and misdemeanor larceny. I wanted to know if there is any way I can still get into a school like even community or MIT/ITT or perhaps the army. I just want to turn my life around and do good but the future looks very dim.

It depends on the nature of the charges (and are these convictions, or charges that were dismissed???), the outcome of the case(s), etc.

If you can describe further, perhaps we can come up with some specific recommendations. Perhaps things are not as bleak as they seem to you right now.

Well i was convicted i am doing 30 days jail with 2 years of probation

just to add, it was for theft (larceny) no drug or violence

That makes things challenging I'm afraid. Is this a first offense?

Will you please share some information about your academic record, and, any ECs or work history? Will you graduate from high school on time?

What are you interested in studying in college? To what extent are finances an issue for you?
