getting in for instate students

You guys swept the regional competition at App State last year. None of our members even placed, so we didn't go this year.

We went to UNC-Charlotte this yr..
Our team got 3rd place.
No one qualified

We got 3 people qualify at App State this year.

Are you from a private AP school?

No, I'm from a public school. I don't know what you consider an AP school. My school offers 9 AP classes (2 of them are new this year), and students can take APs over Virtual High School (but there's only 2 of us doing that this year).

is your school approved to do AP Program testing on its campus or do you have to travel to another school?

Unlike IB, AP doesnt require the school to offer every single class..
sometimes schools offer "AP classes" without offering exam on campus..
those are not AP schools..

There's not a single school in my county who administers APs on campus. Exams are administered at a library nearby and at a church a bit farther away. So to answer your question, no we are not an AP school. And most people have never even heard of IB.

my school does the AP exams our media center...
but it doesnt really matter..
since colleges dont really care whether ur school is AP or IB as long as ur competent as a student
