<p>So my orientation was last Tuesday, and I'm very much looking forward to moving in when late August rolls around. </p>
<p>I was told that I'd probably get an e-mail by the end of that week with my roommates contact info, but I haven't. Has anyone received such an e-mail yet?</p>
<p>I know over on Facebook for Class of 2015 they have been posting there (plus my daughter’s quad “H-Quad”) has their own seperate facebook page also. She found her roommates there. But first got her address (room #) off of Solar. Just a thought.</p>
<p>Do you know where in SOLAR she found it? Was it right under messages, or would I have had to go looking for it?</p>
<p>IDK I am a transfer and they told me I wouldn’t get my housing assigned until the end of August. I hope I have a place to sleep…</p>
<p>In her solar… under “addresses”…she clicked on that…and then clicked on “future addresses” and up came her dorm building and room.</p>
<p>Your building and room should be on SOLAR by now, yes, although roommate contact info hasn’t been sent yet. But yes, a lot of students find each other on the FB Class of 2015 page.</p>

<p>How do we find our room and building on Solar? I looked under Campus Housing and all of the options don’t pertain to me since I’m not a resident student.</p>
<p>I also looked under “addresses” under Security and Personal Data but could not find it either.</p>
<p>if you’re not a resident machupicchu, none of this applies to u right? You won’t have a room or a building because you’re not living on campus…if there’s another factor here please correct me.</p>
<p>That is correct, I will live on campus but I am a future freshman. I am still curious when SBU will tell us who our roommates are and what dorm we are in because it’s almost a month until we’re all supposed to move in.</p>
<p>If you’re going to be a resident/be on-campus, you’ll have to wait for room assignments. I went to orientation and people told me it was under “Address” on SOLAR but then they removed the link completely for some reason! I didn’t know about it so I didn’t even get to check it out before it disappeared. The orientation leaders said though that it should probably be back up in about 2 weeks. Sucks though, cause I want to contact my roommate too!</p>
