How can you get accepted to medical school after receiving a D in organic chemistry and a C+ in another class (with a willingness to retake classes, plan to change study habits and raise GPA, and plan to take several upper level science courses).

some schools won’t accept a D so you’ll have to retake but both grades appear on the transcript. DO schools offer grade replacement where that D could “disappear.”

Unless you’re going to go DO, I wouldn’t retake the C+

Retake both classes and get an A. In future classes show you have potential. If you don’t get in the first try, take a post baccalaureate premedical certificate program that has tie in to medical schools and try again. Have you exhausted all choir chances?
