Getting into a full class?

<p>Does anyone have any tips for getting into a full class? I've been checking online practically 24/7 for the past few days but there have been no openings. Is it better to email the professor or sit in on the class the first day and then talk to him?</p>

<p>From what they told me on orientation, email the professor, and if for some reason he doesn’t respond back, call him or email the dept. chair. Also, apparently most classes are fairly easy to get into on the first day, except psychology and Romance Languages, which have caps mandated by some higher up.</p>
