Getting into a good master's program with a low GPA or holding off?

Hi, I recently just graduated with a BA in Computer Science. My GPA was 3.1 which is almost the bare minimum for almost all computer science master's programs. I wasn't slacking off in my classes but they were pretty vigorous; most of the time, a lot of the kids ended up with grades around the C - B minus range. I've never done any kind of year long research but I did an internship where I had to program software for android and I did a yr long project which I got an A and managed to win the top prize. I haven't taken the the GREs yet but I've taken a lot of practice tests and I average out to about 760 - Q and 400 - V. With all this, do I have a chance of getting into a good grad school?

Depends on what you mean by “good.” You won’t probably get into any name-dropping “prestige” schools, but some fine public universities would likely admit you. You’d be paying your own way, of course.
