Im going to have about a 3.77 gpa at the end of this year, which will be the end of my junior year. I am, however, taking at least 3 AP classes my senior year. Will this make up for my lack there-of? My ec's are pretty good, I just need community service. I really wanted to get into UCLA and have a shot at Vanderbilt, NYU and Berkeley as well. If my SAT scores (which will be arriving shortly) are on par, do I still have a good chance? If it matters, my GPA is comprised of mostly A's and a few B's. No C's.

If your school offered APs and you didn’t take them, all of these schools will be very tough for you,

I do have honors classes in there, but at my school they do not contribute to your GPA. Also, will an upward trend help make up for it? At the end of this semester I will have between a 3.87 and 4.0 unweighted GPA.

Depends on how prestigious, but doubtful at any of the schools you listed without APs junior year unless you ace the SAT and then maybe could go to Vandy as I assume you are form CA and I do not think they get as many CA students as others, plus Vandy focuses on SATs. Apply ED if you have the financial means to do so.

There are lots of kids who have been working like crazy to take lots of APs throughout high school. Lots of 4.2/2100s got rejected from those schools this year. Meanwhile, you had an easier course load and less work.

Taking APs senior year is good, but it doesn’t tell them much about your ability to do well in them.

By all means, apply to these schools as reaches. Just make sure you have some safeties and matches as well.
