Hi, I am a sophomore in high school and I want to know what are my chances into getting in a college like William and Mary, or UVA. When I mean something like "those colleges", I mean in terms of rankings. I am going for medicine/science majors, and I have a strong passion for it. I had a 3.5 unweighted gpa and a weighted 3.8 freshman year, while taking all honors, including doing Biology honors which was a junior level class. This year I am taking 2 sciences: AP Biology and normal Chemistry, and AP World History. The 2 AP's and Chem have an A average grade. I estimate to have an unweighted 3.6 - 3.75 gpa and a weighted 4.1 or 4.2. I am taking AP Calculus AB next year, AP US History, maybe AP Literature but Honors English 11 if not, Physics, and Latin 5 which is an honors course. I will also take the highest level of guitar offered next year. I know I can bring a cumulative 3.75 and weighted 4.2 by the end of my highschool career. I plan to take a high number of AP's senior year as well. I have not taken the SAT yet, but I estimate a 2100 or higher. How are my chances for UVA, William and Mary, VTech, UCLA(Heard someone got in with a 3.5 overall), Johns Hopkins for a medicine/science major? I may also do something like an Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering major. I would also like some people that have gone to a top school of the above mentioned or others to respond.
