I'm going to be a senior in the fall and have just started looking more closely at schools. More specifically I'm considering applying for a few accelerated or joint programs for pharmacy and medicine, and I wanted to see if my credentials were up to par.

Some programs I'm considering (still haven't searched too far yet):
Rutgers 6-year pharmacy, Penn State accelerated premed-med program, North Carolina 6-year pharmacy, Northeastern (HPME)

SAT I: first time) reading-800, math-780, writing-680; second time) reading-780, math-760, writing-740

SAT II: math II-800, chemistry-800, biology-760

GPA: ~92 unweighted (I think this translates to 3.6?)

APs: Chemistry-5, Statistics-5, Calc AB-5, US History-4, Biology-5, English Language-4

Extracurriculars:
literary magazine (officer junior and next year)
piano,
200+ hospital hours
some library volunteer hours.

Work: Tutoring once a week since beginning of junior year, will also work weekly at local restaurant in the fall

I've looked at the websites of some programs and I can't say my scores are -too- far away. But I also seem to have relatively few activities and no awards or honors of any great consequence to make up for my somewhat common scores. Do you think I still have a fighting chance of making it into a selective program?
