Getting into Berkeley for MBA

Ok, I'm going to tell you this is purely theoretical.

First, what would you need to know to determine a chance. What I was wondering is say an Engineer double majors is Comp Sci. and Comp Hardware Eng. at Purdue and works in Silicon Valley for 4/5 years until maybe he's 27/28.

This raises another question, should "he" do a full time MBA or part-time and keep working on the side. Also, should "he" get a general or specialty (in what if he is planning to go into project management/consulting with knowledge on investing "his" money on the side). How long would it take?

Where should "he" get his MBA around San Fran? is Berkeley feasible?

Is an MBA even really worth it for an Engineer? Would going into management get significantly higher pay? (Btw, "he" is not going into engineering just for money, but c'mon it still matters). I know someone in Comp. Sci. (comp eng.) who has an MBA, I remember him saying he wishes he had gotten his MBA earlier than he did. This was during a discussion about investments that I was listening in on.
