Is it that difficult? I am just thinking about it as a possibility I am an incoming junior with a B average thats on the rise and is going to be higher and was wondering if I have that much of an advantage being in state.

being instate is a huge advantage. With a B average you'll most likely get in, unless you have terrible SATS.

thanks I was just thinking about the possibility of applying there because its a pretty good school and I would have an advantage being in-state.

My son is transferring there this fall as a junior. He had a "B" average. When we went on the visit for transfer students, they pretty much said you are in as a in-state transfer with at least a "B" average. Below a "B" average then it will just depend. You shouldn't have any problems getting in.

Either instate or out of state, a 3.0+ should get in you in from any mid-tier school.
