Getting into courses at Haas-- non-Haas people.

The majority of the courses for Haas seem to only have seats reserved for Haas students. How do non-Haas people get into those courses? By being on the waitlist and hoping that all the spots don't get taken by Haas students and waiting for themselves to be processed on it first day of lecture? Or is there a certain period where all of a sudden seats stopped being reserved?

Thanks.

Taking them in the summer is often a good, easy way to do this.

Waitlisted students are entered into the class sometime during the first 1-2 weeks of class. The intro Haas courses are pretty easy to get in. The smaller one range from hard to impossible.
