Getting into Harvard

Hello everyone, I am from Ontario and I was thinking of applying to Harvard. But I am in grade 12, and my extra curricular activities/ volunteer throughout my high school career but mostly started in grade 12 are:
- grade 8 Tour Guide at my high school
- volunteered at the Scarborough Museum
- was in a poetry club
- I volunteered at a sign shop
- I was in cross country
- I just started a Enviromental club at my school and I am VERY passionate about it
My work experience is:
- selling chocolate for a charity
- Piano teacher
But thing is that my transcript is not very good. I previous have had a couple (maybe 2) D's, C's but also some A's and B's. but for grade 12, I am planning for a 90 average (would that cancel out my previous transcript?). also I am planning to take my SAT's in January which means I am studying now for it and I am hoping to do well.
So I was wondering that since my marks in grade 9, 10, 11 weren't that great. Do you think I have a good chance at getting into Harvard?? I would like to know before I apply for my SAT's. Thank you very much!
I have also been in a concert band since grade 10 too.

No (10 Characters)

This is going to be harsh, but there’s no way around it: You don’t stand a chance. Kids who apply to Harvard have all A’s, hardly any B, no C and no D. For ECs, they have national and sometimes international awards in what they do. And even with these resumes, 90% of them are rejected.
Do you want to attend college in the US? There are tons of good schools you could attend.

Unfortunately, I agree with the above.

Definitely no on Harvard. (Don’t feel bad - even kids with stellar stats and ECs get rejected).

I’ve heard that Canada colleges are excellent and more affordable. If you want US college suggestions, tell us more about your preferred area of study and financial constraints. If you have not yet looked at cost info on websites get ready for sticker shock - many colleges are over $50K/year.

Highly unlikely you will be admitted to Harvard. However, it is not the Holy Grail of college admissions.

Thank you everyone! It’s okay and I’m just going to focus on my grades.
