Getting into IU with a GED?

Hello, this is my first post on this website as I had just recently stumbled upon it as a result of googling. Uhm, my question is (as stated in the topic title): What are my chances of getting accepted to IU with a GED? Mainly IUPUI or IU in Bloomington, I'm sure they vary to some extent as far as admissions requirements go. Here's the deal with me: I wasn't serious about my education when I was younger..I skipped class and joked off the majority of the time. I really do regret it now as I focus more on going to college/university next year and my plans for the future. I scored 2800 (out of 4000 max) on the GED and I did average in math and language arts. I dropped out of high school when I was 17 (I'm 18 now) and have recently obtained my GED, with hopes of getting into upper education next year around spring/fall time. Thanks in advance to all who reply and give me advice. I'm not sure if it matters but I plan on going Pre-Dent, I want to go to dental school and become a dentist.

Bumping hopefully for a reply.

You really need to take this question directly to the admissions offices at the universities that you are interested in. The people there will be able to tell you what your options are. It is perfectly OK to pick up the phone and call them, or ask them in an email if you can’t arrange to visit in person.

I think IUPUI has a department for adult learners. It is much more of a commuter campus and more accomodating to non-traditional students.
