getting into Kenan flalger(for transfer student)

Hi, I'm an international student who was accepted to UNC as a transfer student..
I actually don't really decide to go there.
Because I am already in BYU accounting major.

I've got an email from UNC, however, they don't accept lots of my credits that I expected.

Here is the question;
If I send petition with syllabus, do they easily or at least generous to accept those credits on the petition?

The other question is this;
I want to get into Kenan flagler program, I heard the rate of competition is not really high, like one people accepted out of two people, how do you think?
If I go there and fail to get into the program, I would lose two chances, one is my current major, accounting, the other is UNC business program....
That's why I'm so serious now....

Help me and share your thinking please!! @-@

I am not sure if you are supposed to do this before or after you take classes somewhere else but here is a course approval form

[Course Approval Form](http://admissions.unc.edu/course_approval/index.php)

The program is quite competitive. It’s one of the best of the country.

They are going to re-evaluate the transfer credit report they gave you. Schedule an appointment with an advisor you can go over what you’ll need to get into Kenan-Flagler. The statistics you heard is probably wrong. From what I hear, getting in is extremely competitive. You will need to take all of the prerequisites and there is no guarantee you’ll get in, so make sure you have a backup plan. Getting in as a transfer is even more difficult because you only have a certain amount of time to graduate so you may need to take summer courses.

Edit: business courses are approved separately so you’ll need to email the business school with a syllabus.

Getting into the B-School as a transfer is impossible. Due to the adjustment process at Carolina, you’re not going to have the most stellar GPA you’ve ever had or will have and Kenan-Flagler does not take that into consideration for transfer students. They tend to favor more of the applicants who have been at Carolina since their freshmen year. Classes outside of Kenan-Flagler are more difficult in the sense that Kenan-Flagler heavily inflates grade, whereas, the College of Arts and Sciences relies heavily on grade distributions and bell curves. You may think you have an A, but it could also show as a B+ or A- on your semester report.

Best of luck! But don’t transfer if you’re unwilling to possibly have to settle for another major. I’m not being a pessimist, I’m being completely honest.
