Getting into MA Engineering: Between transferring degrees and taking Prerequisites

Hi All,

This is my first post. While I found a thread similar to this one, it didn't really answer any of my questions. Here's my situation:

I am about to enter my senior year of college as a Music Theory/Composition major. I currently have a 3.85 and I am slated to graduate on schedule. The thing is, I've had misgivings about my degree for the past year now. I think I would prefer to enter the sciences, namely engineering. The school I attend (West Chester University of Pennsylvania) offers a 3+2 program for Physics and Engineering. My question is, would it be more efficient to complete my undergrad in Music, and then take prerequisites for a MA or Professional degree, or should I switch my degree now and get my new undergrad? I've determined I can turn the program into a 1.5+2, given that I've finished all of my gen eds.

Oh yes, and I have one more year of waived tuition, if that makes any difference.
