Just out of curiosity...

Is it easier to get into McCombs Business school after your freshman year than it is to get in during college application?

I heard that you only have to maintain 3.5 GPA.

Thanks

I know quite a few people that are transferring into McCombs from the College at UT, but most of them have already completed two years at UT.

I think a lot of people do it as it is a bit easier, since admission as a freshman is very competitive.

How competetive is the freshman admission if one doesn't make the initial top ~3% cut?

An admissions officer from UT recently told my senior class that it is much harder to transfer into a top-ranked school like McCombs from inside UT than it is to gain admission as a freshman.

what if I go to a different college and transfer after freshman year? for ex, Texas A&M.
