I live in Ontario, and was wondering what they look at for people in my province. My high school doesn't have AP courses or anything like that; I'm just going to take U bio, chem, physics, advanced functions, calc/vectors, data management, english in grade 12. Assuming I have a 95%+ average in grade 12, what else could I do to get in? I know McGill doesn't look at extra curriculars (same with most Canadian universities), and I wasn't planning on taking SATs or ACT, so is the only thing they consider my grade 12 average? I could take SATs or ACTs if I really have to..

[Admissions standards (Ontario High School)](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/ontario/)

I’ve seen that site, but I just found it hard to believe that all they care about is my grade 12 average.

Believe it. Although they may look at predicted grades a bit.

I’m an Ontario student and got into McGill for Anatomy + Cell Bio. My grade 12 avg is 94 I think. You should be fine.

My SATs were sent too though (SAT I = 2230, SAT II = 730, 780, 800).
