If I had a poor gpa 1.5-2.0 but had a 29 on my act and wasn't taking the required classes to get into mizzou and was declined can I still get in? They said if you have new information they will reevaluate your application. If I changed my classes to meet the mizzou requirements along with having the 29 on my act could I get in then? I know mizzou has a thing where if you get a 24 and have the required credits you automatically get in. Could I get in now?

I actually just visited Mizzou and had heard about that! Unfortunately your GPA is extremely low… are you a senior? I would still give it a shot and apply if you feel that is where you want to be! They do consider other applications and they may or may not request an essay, I can’t remember. If they do ask for an essay, then I suggest freshening up your writing skills and blowing admissions away through that vehicle, because your GPA does not cut it. You do have a great ACT score however, but that alone will probably not overshadow that GPA. But if you absolutely love a school, there is always a way to get there so do not give up! They may have a backtrack program that I haven’t heard of or you could always go to a community college (There are lots to choose from in the surrounding area) and transfer in after a semester or a year. Best of luck to you! :)
