ANY COMMENTS WILL HELP! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

UMO: Safety (although you will have to get a 3.0+ GPA once at Mizzou to declare a major in journalism)

what exactly is a safety school?

@ajf1996 Safety means that you are above the range for most of the applicants they accept, ergo its ‘safe’ to say that you will be accepted. I know the journalism school there is highly ranked so its good to show initiative and be involved in journalism related programs in HS. Best of luck!

@shk909 Thank you!

People forget that nothing unexpected happens with Mizzou admissions; they use an algorithm to determine if you should be accepted. They don’t even ask for your extracurricular activities in the application. Meet their requirements, and you’re in.

i was accepted but chose Ball State University instead. Thank you
