Getting into Penn?

Hello

Forgive me this is my first time on this forum, and I just finished receiving all my test scores so I figured I would post my stuff on here and I could get some advice.

Forgive me if this is in the wrong location or if its not good practice to ask annoying questions like this, but I am really lost and I don't have anybody to go to to ask for help, so I was hoping you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Since you can't really judge my essay and interview, my essay is about the difficulties i faced with me dad leaving me for heroin, and i am a very personable person and i will do fantastic in the interview. I don't mean to sound cocky but dealing with people is my best area so I hope I will do okay on that.

This is all really I can think of. I'm planning on applying on UPenn Early Decision this October. Thoughts?

Thank you so much for reading. I just want to know what my chances are. Its my dream to go to Penn (I think I will apply for statistics or financial mathematics or something).

I am also going to apply to Pitt and CMU and Swarthmore as back ups.

Thanks again! Good luck in all yinz endeavors.

Penn wants all SAT and ACT scores, so unfortunately they’ll see 2100, so you can retake if you want, otherwise you have a pretty decent chance as everyone. You should apply to more schools just in case though! If your majoring in finances, does that mean you’re applying into Wharton? That’s much harder to get into!

I think the average for the Class of 17 was 2198. Maybe the median but I saw it recently.

my goodness our stats are so similar.
