Getting into Phillips Academy Andover

Ok, I know the deadline's passed, but I'm gonna learn soon if my mom gets a teaching scholarship from Harvard.

I have the grades required to get in, I was just wondering if there's ANY way I could still try and get in ? (Do you think Harvard could help?)

Also, I'll be moving from Paris, would it make make it harder for me to get in if I'm an international ?

Please note: Priority in the admission process is given to those students who complete the entire application process by the January 15 deadline. For those students wishing to apply for the “second round” of admission to Andover, please call the Admission Office for our current enrollment status.

You can also ask questions on their facebook page.

I believe Andover does not accept any applications after Feb. 1st.
Call them though.

We looked into it last year, and were told it was possible, but your chances are incredibly slim (even more than usual!)

You can call, or call one of the many great private schools in the area. Do you know where you are living? Or are you boarding? Why narrow yourself to Andover.

The better option might be to look at a school that goes K-9 and enter ninth grade there, then apply to Andover and similar schools for 2013-14 year. Those schools are very likely to consider you for the one year as they generally have flexibility in numbers for the ninth grade.

If the student needs FA, applying after the deadline is likely to be declined as the money is being allocated to students in the first round. Full pay students may have some flexibility at less competitive schools.
