I am currently a high school sophomore in Rochester.

As for grades:
- I have gotten all A's for every one of my high school courses including ones I took in middle school.

In extracurricular activities:
- I play the violin. I am currently in the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (RPYO) which is the highest level orchestra available for me.
-I also play soccer, for my school in the fall and for travel club soccer year-round.
- In the spring, I run in track. I was on varsity track in 9th grade and may or may not rung again this year.

Last year I entered a writing competition for all high school students 9th - 12th grade in my city, and received an honorable mention.

I participate in my school's Math Team, Science Olympiad, DECA and Model UN. I am in the school's Republican Club and German Club, I took part in the AATG exam and received A's on all of my high school standardized tests.

This summer, I volunteered and worked at the University of Rochester, Cardiovascular Institute of Research. I did this for one month for a total of about 110+
hours. I enjoyed it very much and learned how to do many things on my own.

I am interested in the medical path in my future and will work hard towards it.
I would like some suggestions as to what I should do throughout the rest of my high school career. Such as what programs I should participate in, any summer programs I should look out for.

Am I falling too much behind in expectations, or am I on the right track and just need to do a little more?
Should I go after winning awards, and if so, what kind?
What is expected out of tests such as the SAT, and when should I apply for college? Do I need to step it up between this and next (Junior) year?
Should I drop school soccer and track?

Those kinds of questions are the ones I would like to be answered the most so I can plan out my future. Any help would be appreciated.

The pre-med programs I would like to (am looking forward to) the most are:

Duke
Stanford
University of Rochester
John Hopkins

Duke and Stanford for kind of obvious reasons, University of Rochester may not be the most renowned, but I really like my town and the program is still very good, about the same for John Hopkins.

Sorry that this was really long and thanks for reading and any comments.
