Getting into Princeton Engineering EA

<p>I know Princeton does holistic admissions so even amazing grades and test scores only make you competitive while all the intangibles win you admission, but I was wondering if my academics make me competitive in the early action pool since I'm pretty much ready to apply and I've heard that early action applicants tend to be a more competitive group. I'm taking my last SAT subject test in october, but this is what I have so far.</p>

<p>Prospective Major: Civil Engineering/Materials Science
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Assyrian (First generation American with parents from Iran and Iraq; speak Assyrian at home as first language. Maybe this'll help since Assyrians are far and few between in the US and the world and colleges are always looking for diversity?)
GPA: Unweighted: 3.97 Weighted: 4.63
ACT: 36
SAT Subject Test: Chemistry 790, still need to take Math II
AP Scores: Chemistry 5, Physics B 5, Euro History 5, US History 5, English Lang 5, French 4
Senior Classes: AP Government, AP Macro, Comp Sci Honors, Pre-Engineering Honors, AP English Lit, AP Calculus BC, and AP Physics C
Awards/Honors:
*National: National Council of Teachers of English Writing Award
*State: 10th in Chemistry Lab Science Olympiad and 11th in Thermodynamics, Team won 3rd overall in state, 35th in Architecture Design/CAD
*Regional: 1st in Architecture Design/CAD, 1st individual in MSOE Chemistry Competition and 2nd team in all-science, 1st individual and team in Chemistry Olympiad (Chicagoland area)
*School: Bausch & Lomb Junior Science Award, Science student of the month, placed in top 10 for physics bowl score among AP Physics B & C students
Extracurriculars/Leadership: Interact (Community Service): Head of PR committee (11) President (12) WISH coordinator (11-12), Sunday School Teacher (9-12), National Honors Society, WYSE (science/engineering), Science Olympiad, Skills USA Architecture/Engineering, Tutor (English, Chem, and Math) Freshman & JV Soccer: 9-10, Freshman Volleyball and Club Volleyball</p>

<p>Soo is early action the right way to go? Advice on SCEA vs RD would be great :)</p>
