Getting into Public Ivys with low stats

<p>@betweenthetrees if you don’t mind me asking, how many Ap/IB classes did you take and how many B’s did you get. That’ll probably give me a better way to compare. I mean I have a 30 for the act which is in the middle for William and Mary and close to the middle for UVA.</p>

<p>Sure, I took 6 AP classes, Language and Composition, Language and Lit, Spanish, Macroeconomics, Environmental Science, and Government. I’m not a math wiz, so basically all my B’s came in math related fields, geometry B-, Algebra 2 B+, Trig B, Math analysis B-, Calc, C+, Physics, B, also got a B+ in Spanish 5. I was top 10% and had a lot of leadership and EC’s, I also applied ED instate. </p>

<p>As you can see, I am definitely a humanities person, and I had a ton of other stuff and rigorous classes to cover my shortcomings</p>

<p>Yeah I have a 29 on mine! I got mainly b’s in Spanish and then a’s every where else</p>
