Getting into Reed... Feasible Or Not?

Hi everyone!
I am wondering if I can "win" a financial aid package from Reed. I am an international and Reed gives about 25 FA to about 200-250 applicants. Can I have one?

Also, I'll definitely (100% sure) get a 20.0/20.0 (A+) to all of them.

Thank you!

it depends on your essay :)

By the way how long it should be? Are 600 words OK?
And what “double spaced” mean…? I really don’t know exactly.

It depends on everything, not just essay.

“Double spaced” means a blank line between each line. It has nothing to do with length; it’s just easier to read.

I think predicting international admission chances when FA is needed is nearly impossible.

I agree with Vossron. Much depends on whether getting a student from your country is a priority and whether you’re the best available. Then, on how much money you need.

International interest in US colleges is exploding, expect that schools will have more applicants each year for some time, so apply widely. And if you’re not applying this year, work on the CR score, it’s important that they know you can handle the heavy reading and writing.

Thank you for helping me…
I think that my essay is EXCELLENT and they will love it!
Well, I woul’d be suprised if any other student from Greece will apply to Reed - oregon, small and most of all west/north America… And right now there isn’t any student from Greece in Reed… so I’ll take that as a (+)… and Reed seems to admire Greek Classics very much… which is a reason why I apply to Reed.
So Good luck to me AND
GOOD LUCK TO EACH OF U!!!
