Okay, so I'm a junior, stats are 2260 SAT, 3.97 UW GPA, lots of ECs and APs. I'm most likely going to Purdue for chemical engineering. (I'm in-state so it'll be a great deal)
Do many graduates of Purdue get into grad schools like MIT, stanford, Hopkins, etc.? Like compared to if I went to MIT or something.
And also, is it hard to maintain a high GPA in Purdue engineering?
edit//one more question, sorry there are so many...can anyone chance me for the Beering's scholarship/has anyone gotten it?

I don’t go, but I am planning to, and I have heard that they do send many students to schools like MIT, especially for MBAs. I know this is not nearly the amount info you are looking for, but I’ll just offer it as some preliminary guidance.

If you do well in Purdue engineering you can be a competitive applicant wherever you go…

isnt it better to go easier (if there is lol) school and get higher GPA?
like get 3.8 or 3.9 ?? than getting 3.5 in purdue?
